Position: Chauffeur – All Interested Candidates
Salary: NPR Rs 716,694
Work Schedule: Full-time – 48 hours per week
Duty Location: Kathmandu
Duties: The incumbent safely operates a vehicle to transport the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) Chief and safely operates a Fully Armored Vehicle (FAV) within the city and the surrounding areas during VIP visits. The incumbent ensures that the vehicle is in a clean and serviceable condition and performs minor preventive maintenance. Delivers mail, invitation, and packages as required to the Govt Offices. The incumbent reports road traffic situation and accidents; and also maintains trip logs travel documents.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: At least three years of professional driving experience is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of the location of other Missions, Government Offices, Security institutions, NGOs, etc is required. Knowledge of local traffics laws and regulations is required. Knowledge of in-country travel routes and areas is required.
Education Requirements:
Completion of Primary School is required

LANGUAGE: Limited Knowledge of Reading/Writing/Speaking English is required. Good working Knowledge of Reading/Writing/Speaking Nepali is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: A valid local class “B” driver’s license is required. Ability to detect vehicle defects and report them immediately to authorities concerned is required. Must have basic computer skills to maintain reports and for communication purposes.
