Chief Technology Officer

Shikhar Insurance Company Limited, leading general insurance company of Nepal seeks applications from energetic Nepalese citizens for the post of Chief Technology Officer.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technological and digital vision and strategy for the company.
• Ensure timely execution of digitization, digitalization, and digital transformation as per the vision and strategy of the company.
• Ensure that all technological practices and system of the company adhere to the regulatory guidelines and international standards.
• Develop, monitor, and manage the IT Department’s budget.
• Ensure information security of the company in all aspects, both physical and digital.
• Identify and implement technological advancements relating to the insurance industry.
• Liaise with and manage relationships with vendors of technological hardware and software.
• Report and present to the management team on the technological status and developments of the organization on a regular and as-needed basis.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Executive.

Qualification, experience, and skill requirement

• Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration with required skill and experience in information technology management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in roles related to information technology operations and management.
• Experience and skill relating to cloud solutions, server, network, mail service, operating systems, computer hardware, information security, programming, DevOps, mobile and/or web development, data science and data analytics, machine learning, digital design and data visualization, digital product management, digital marketing and social media, decision making.
