Job Description

Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast demand for fruits and vegetables.
Collaborate with the sales and category teams to align forecasts with promotional and seasonal plans.
Coordinate with sourcing teams to secure optimal supply from local suppliers.
Plan and monitor lead times, delivery schedules, and replenishment requirements.
Track supplier performance and promptly address supply-related issues.
Coordinate with the warehouse, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth receiving, handling, and dispatch of fresh produce.
Support marketing and sales teams in demand shaping and promotional planning.
Provide regular reports on demand forecasts, supply performance, inventory levels, and wastage.

Job Specification

Education & Qualifications: Minimum +2 degree
Experience: Prior retail or inventory experience is an advantage; Freshers are encouraged to apply

Skills & Competencies:

Comfortable with extensive computer use and repetitive system-based tasks.
Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Strong understanding of perishables planning, seasonality, and demand variability.
Willing to support operations across multiple locations.
Flexible to work extra hours or adjust to changing shift schedules when required.
A quick learner with strong attention to details and system understanding.
Demonstrates teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Maintains discipline, confidentiality, and integrity in all work activities.
Proficient in basic Microsoft Excel and data handling.

Note:

Additional Requirement: Daily office visit (Baluwatar) for approx. 1 hour during the first half of the day
Timing: 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM (Overnight)
Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Location: Remote working (Work from Home)

Mandatory Requirement: A valid driving license with personal vehicle is mandatory.
