Job Description

Position: Retail Store Manager
Location: Kathmandu

Metro Market is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Store Manager to oversee daily supermarket operations, lead store teams, achieve sales targets, and deliver an outstanding customer experience while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall store operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
Lead, motivate, train, and supervise the store team.
Achieve sales, profitability, and operational targets.
Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
Maintain merchandising standards, product availability, and store presentation.
Monitor inventory, stock movement, shrinkage, and stock accuracy.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Coordinate with Head Office and other departments for efficient store operations.
Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail/FMCG, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and basic retail reporting.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve business targets.
