Job Description
International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.

Position: Dermatology Registrar (Readvertised)

Location: Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The post holder is responsible for providing comprehensive dermatological care under the supervision of Consultant Dermatologists. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients with skin, hair, nail, sexually transmitted diseases & Leprosy, while contributing to clinical education, quality improvement, and research activities within the department.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
Must have MD in Dermatology along with valid specialty registration at Nepal Medical Council.
Candidates with experience or freshers are encouraged to apply. Candidates having skills in dermoscopy and dermatological procedures is an advantage.
Training in cosmetic dermatology and laser procedures is an advantage.
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in clinical dermatology, venereology and leprosy practice.
Must have knowledge of dermatological procedure and treatment.
Excellent communication and patient counselling skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain hierarchy.
Competence in medical documentation and electronic medical records.
Ability to work under pressure and manage clinical priorities.
Compassion and empathy towards patient, and has professional integrity and accountability.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Position: Medical Officer- PC

Location: Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara
Purpose of the Job:
The post holder is a part of the Palliative Care (PC) team providing a holistic clinical Palliative Care Services- inpatient, outpatient consultations; community home visits; day therapy support enabling adults and children with life limiting illnesses and their families. The Medical Officer will work collaboratively and closely with Green Pastures Hospital’s multidisciplinary team; is involved with the various ongoing research and audit projects undertaken by the service; will be expected to participate in appropriate Palliative Care training and will contribute to strategic Palliative Care education and training.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
Must have an MBBS Degree, registered at Nepal Medical Council.
Must have Minimum of one year of experience in hospital service.
Experience in pediatric care, palliative care, rehabilitation or community health programmes is an advantage.
Excellent clinical assessment and patient management skills.
Strong facilitation and training skills along with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Maintains confidentiality and high ethical standards.
Strong report writing and documentation skills. Good command of spoken and written English and Nepali.
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email).
Demonstrates compassion, empathy and resect when caring for children with life- limiting illnesses and their families.
Good planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of and agreement with the values which are important to INF Nepal.
