The remaining duration of the Program is for a period of five years.

Position: Accountant

Required Qualification and Experience:

Significant experience working as a professional accountant (at least 5 years).
Experience in project accounting or book- keeping, and in an environment with minimal daily supervision.
Experience working on projects financed by international donors.
Demonstrated experience in the maintenance and use of automated accounting systems.
Experience with SAP- based systems is desirable.
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
Professional financial management / accountancy qualification or specialized training.
Knowledge and experience in working. with IFRS or U.S. GAAP or equivalent training in accounting.
Proficiency in English - reading, writing, and speaking
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Accountant will execute day-to-day accounting activities of the Program, record financial transactions, maintain accounts payable and receivable, and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
