Position: Accounts Officer (Hot Job)

Job Description

• Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
• Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.
• Pays employees by directing the production and issuance of transfers to bank accounts.

Job Specification

• Should have sound knowledge of reconciliation and Income Tax and all the government related statutory compliance.
• Should have complete knowledge about Tax, VAT all other office accounting system.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in related field.
