Job Description
United Coffee Club running under the management of United Academy Group is seeking a meticulous and proactive Sales Ledger Accountant to manage sales and stock-related accounting across our outlets. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales ledger and journals using Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and Tally.
- Maintain recipe-wise stock journal vouchers accurately.
- Prepare and report various financial statements on time.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors as required.
- Import authorized sales data from IMS (POS/Cafe Management System) and monitor IMS software for smooth operations.
- Maintain daily cash sales records from all café outlets in Google Sheets and share with the Deputy Director and Accounts Head.
- Handle all aspects of stock management, from ordering to requisition, ensuring all data is accurately recorded in the system.
- Generate reports to verify inventory levels, determine reorder activities, and monitor usage rates.
- Inspect deliveries from suppliers to verify quantity and quality against invoices.
- Reconcile all incoming materials with purchase orders.
- Maintain professional and ethical relationships with suppliers.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in management or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a multi-site food business.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Tally, and IMS ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of sales ledger, stock management, and financial reporting.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
