Job Description
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Develop and experiment with new recipes to enhance our bakery offerings.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of baked goods.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Monitor baking processes, including oven temperatures, dough proofing, and mixing techniques.
- Train and supervise junior bakers or assistants as needed.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and seasonal ingredients.
Job Specification
- Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or Baker.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Creativity in designing and decorating pastries and cakes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage the kitchen staff and the team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
