Job Description
- Responsible for food preparation as per recipe, quality and presentation standards
- Work as directed by the Demi Chef De Partie and Executive Chef
- Set up all ingredients at stations before the start of the service
- Ensure that all food is prepared by recipes designated by the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie
- Aid in achieving food cost efficiency
- Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials.
- Report equipment breakdowns to DCDP and ensure quick repair/replacement
- Ensure that the food preparation area is clean at all times
- Assist other sections or help with other duties when the kitchen is short staffed or in emergencies
- Perform any other duties as assigned as assigned by the Management
