Job Description
  • Develop and drive implementation and execution of effective long and short-term marketing strategies to establish and ensure continuous and sustained competitive advantage and success of assigned products portfolio.
  • Develop clear, well-communicated vision and strategies for assigned products that can be translated to effective marketing and sales plan.
  • Ensure that development and design of innovative promotional campaigns and business activities comply with relevant, acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
  • Formulate strategic, marketing and tactical plans for current and future products launches within the franchise through effective brands, operational, forecast and budget plans to ensure sales, profitability and market share targets are achieved.
  • Optimize allocation of all resources to brands through active assessment of return of investment. 
  • To evaluate effectiveness of marketing strategies, campaigns and medical experts development through regular field visits hospitals (meeting OT head, ICN, Microbiologist and customers engagements
  • To achieve targets for sales, grow market share, profit contribution and market penetration for all assigned product/s (i.e. entire portfolio P&L)
  • Regular fieldwork, monitoring marketing plans (brand plans), identifying opportunities and gaining market intelligence
  • To maintain and improve product knowledge of the sales force and sales managers and to continually update knowledge on the product, competitors and market.
  • Ensure continuous collaboration with all functions and divisions namely sales, and technical team; to ensure effective conceptualization and implementation of sales, marketing and market access plans for all strategic brands
  • Active participation in lectures, seminars, symposiums etc. to enhance product and organization image
Job Specification
  • BSc – Microbiology, Biotechnology / B Pharma with MBA/ PGDM- Marketing or Bachelor’s Degree in any Business Discipline or Healthcare field
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire subordinates to achieve organizational goals
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and analyze data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Must have leadership quality
  • Understanding of commercial trends and marketing strategies
  • Good Designing and implementing marketing plans for company products


  • Has about 5 -10 years of experience in Product Management in the pharma, medical devices, and healthcare industry with proven track record.
  • Experience working in a matrix and managing diverse stakeholders, including external stakeholders
  • Medical Sales Experience is Highly preferred.
