Job Specification

• Bachelor degree in Social Science, Communication and Journalism. Master’s degree is preferred. 
• At least three years’ experience on the social development sector especially in reporting and documenting the best practices and results of program related to Disaster Risk Management and Resilience program. 
• Communication and knowledge management design and implementation skill. 
• Ability to search for different resources to develop innovative approaches. 
• Willingness to travel frequently to remote areas. 
• Competence riding a motorbike preferred. 
• Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments under tight deadlines. Previous experience is highly preferred. 
• Strong organizational skills required with demonstrated experience in strategic planning, communication skills and the ability to work independently. 
• Good computer skills, including preliminary research and information gathering from the internet, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint preparation is required. 
• Strong written and oral presentation and communication skills in both English and Nepali required, including report development, writing, and editing.
