Position: Pediatric Oncologist (Recent Job)

Examining patients and ordering diagnostic tests
Analyzing patient symptoms and test results and making a diagnosis
Prescribing treatments, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with other doctors to treat or manage side effects
Using various methods of treatment, such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, stem cell transplants, radiation therapy, and surgery
Leading a treatment team of other physicians and healthcare workers.
Counseling patients and family members and promoting the well-being of patients and their long-term survival
Maintaining patient records
Conducting clinical, transitional, and science-based research in order to remain up to date and to find new ways to treat cancer and blood disorders that possibly lead to a cure.

Other Specification:

A Medical degree with the successful completion of a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Oncology and Hematology
A license and certification to practice Pediatric Oncology
Strong leadership and teamworking skills
The ability to counsel and communicate with children
A caring and compassionate nature toward children
Good observation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of the field and ability to remain up to date.
