Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nepali Language Teacher to teach students from Grade 6 to Grade 10. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the national curriculum, possess excellent communication skills in both Nepali and English, and be able to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that fosters language development, critical thinking, and appreciation for Nepali literature and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Nepali language and literature to students from Grade 6 to 10 in accordance with the National Curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver well-structured lesson plans that align with academic goals and learning objectives.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and unit tests to evaluate student performance and progress.
- Encourage students to develop reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills in the Nepali language.
- Promote cultural understanding through stories, poems, drama, and classical texts.
- Maintain discipline and manage the classroom in a fair and respectful manner.
- Coordinate with other subject teachers and school administration for overall academic planning and events.
- Participate in school functions, teacher training programs, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Provide individual support to students needing extra help with coursework.
Job Specification
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nepali, Education, or a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching Experience: Minimum of 1 year teaching experience at the lower secondary or secondary level.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Nepali; basic proficiency in English preferred.
- Knowledge of child psychology, modern teaching methodologies, and student-centered learning.
- Good classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ethical values and commitment to student development.
