Job Description

We are seeking a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with ICAN Membership. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to strategic decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and certify financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • The candidate is familiar with Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS) and its implementation.
  • Conduct statutory, internal, and external audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance, including preparation and filing of corporate and indirect taxes in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Ensure timely compliance with company law requirements, regulatory filings, and statutory obligations.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and advisory support to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Support corporate initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and organizational restructuring.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and other stakeholders to resolve queries and maintain seamless operations.
Job Specification
  • Must have completed a Chartered Accountancy (CA) program certified by an ICAN
  • More than 3 years of relevant experience, with prior experience in a professional accounting or audit firm being mandatory.
  • Active participation in Due Diligence Assignments (DDA) or similar financial assessments is preferred.

Skills:

  • Familiarity with tax laws, corporate governance, and statutory requirements
  • Experience with regulatory filings and ensuring adherence to laws.
  • Expertise in cost optimization and improving financial efficiency.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Skill in identifying and mitigating risks in financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in taxation (direct and indirect taxes), financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Expertise in conducting audits (internal, statutory, and forensic).
  • Competence in using accounting and financial software.
