Job Description

Product Promotion and Sales

  • Promote nutraceutical products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) such as doctors, dietitians, pharmacists, and wellness coaches.
  • Educate HCPs on the health benefits, ingredients, recommended dosages, and scientific backing of the products.
    Achieve sales targets and expand market presence.

Scientific Knowledge

  • Understand product composition, clinical studies (if any), health claims, and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on nutritional science and emerging trends in health supplements.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong professional relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Provide ongoing support, answer queries, and ensure client satisfaction.

Market Intelligence

  • Gather market feedback on competitors, customer preferences, and product performance.
  • Share insights with the marketing and R&D teams to help shape product strategy.

Territory Management

  • Plan and execute daily visits across assigned geographic areas.
  • Maintain a database of customer interactions and potential leads.

Training and Compliance

  • Attend company training sessions regularly to stay informed on product updates and marketing strategy.
  • Adhere to company policies, local laws, and ethical standards (such as avoiding exaggerated claims).

Responsibilities

Responsible Communication

  • Ensure accurate and honest communication about the health benefits of nutraceuticals.
  • Avoid making unauthorized therapeutic claims (e.g., curing diseases).

Reporting

  • Submit daily/weekly reports, including sales visits, outcomes, and forecasts.
  • Report any adverse feedback or product complaints to the appropriate department.

Sample Distribution

  • Provide free samples (where allowed) to doctors or clinics to encourage trials and feedback.

Event Participation

  • Attend and support conferences, health camps, and promotional events.

Ethical Conduct

  • Represent the brand professionally and ethically at all times.
  • Comply with FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) or local nutraceutical regulations.

Note:
While nutraceuticals are often available over the counter, many MRs still target doctors and dietitians who recommend them to patients, especially for chronic health management, lifestyle diseases, or general wellness.

Job Specification
  • Education: Bachelors Degree
  • Vehicle and Vehicle Licence Mondatory
  • 1 year plus experience in Sales & Marketing
