Job Description
NIST College invites applications from qualified, experienced, and dedicated Chemistry Teachers to join its academic team for Grades 11 and 12. We seek motivated educators who are committed to academic excellence and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective Chemistry lessons for Grades 11 and 12 in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, laboratory activities, assignments, and examinations.
- Conduct practical classes and ensure proper use and safety of laboratory equipment.
- Assess, evaluate, and document student performance, providing timely feedback and academic support.
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and scientific curiosity among students.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom and laboratory environment.
- Participate in academic meetings, training programs, examinations, and institutional activities.
Job Specification
- Master’s degree in chemistry or a closely related subject.
- Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience at the Higher Secondary level (Grades 11 & 12).
