Job Description

New Prasansa Traders is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial operations, internal calculations, and stock records. The role involves handling daily income and expenses, VAT billing, banking transactions, and maintaining accurate accounting records. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, proactive, and capable of ensuring smooth financial operations while supporting overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of income and expenses and prepare internal office calculations.
Keep proper records of stock and inventory (incoming & outgoing).
Handle VAT calculations, billing, and filing.
Record and reconcile banking transactions on a daily basis.
Manage company postings, financial entries, and ledgers.
Prepare periodic financial statements and reports for management.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely settlements.
Assist in budget preparation, cost monitoring, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity in all financial matters.

Job Specification

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (BBS/BBA/Equivalent)
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (Tally, Swastik, or others).
VAT billing and compliance knowledge.
Ability to prepare financial reports and maintain stock records.

Other Requirements:

Must possess a valid two-wheeler license (own vehicle preferred).
Male candidates are highly encouraged.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with trustworthiness.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
