Job Description

Nepali Butcher Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee financial records across multiple outlets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, ensuring tax compliance as per Nepalese laws, coordinating with outlet in-charges, and supporting management through timely financial reporting. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-outlet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions

  • Record and manage sales, purchases, expenses, and stock-related entries

  • Reconcile POS reports, cash collections, bank statements, and mobile wallet transactions

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and MIS reports

  • Manage VAT, TDS, PAN-related records, filings, and IRD compliance

  • Coordinate with outlet in-charges for daily cash closing and discrepancy resolution

  • Maintain supplier, vendor, and payment records

  • Assist in salary processing, incentives, and staff payment records

  • Support internal audits and management reporting requirements

  • Ensure full compliance with Nepal accounting standards and tax laws

Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management (BBS, BBA, BCom, or equivalent)

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (Retail / FMCG / Restaurant experience preferred)

  • Strong working knowledge of: Accounting software (Tally, Swastik, FinPro, or similar)

  • POS systems

  • MS Excel and basic MIS reporting

  • IRD systems and tax filing procedures

  • Skills & Personal Traits

  • High level of honesty, discipline, and confidentiality

  • Ability to manage accounting for multiple outlets

  • Strong communication and coordination skills

  • Ability to work under pressure during peak periods

  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset

Working Hours

  • 6 days a week

  • Regular office hours with flexibility during:

  • Month-end closing

  • Audit periods

  • Tax filing deadlines

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: NPR 35,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and capability)
