Video Editor & AI Short-Video Creator

NBtv Studio is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor & AI Short-Video Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong video-editing skills, a passion for storytelling, and an interest in using AI tools to create engaging short-form content.

You will work on content focused on Buddha’s teachings, inspiring stories, educational content, interviews, and promotional videos, helping us reach a wider audience across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos, interviews, teachings, promotional videos, and social media content.
• Transform long-form recordings into engaging short videos with strong openings, clear storytelling, and effective pacing.
• Create content optimized for YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
• Use AI-powered tools for video creation, including AI-generated visuals, voiceovers, animation, and editing.
• Add accurate subtitles, captions, graphics, transitions, and other visual elements.
• Handle basic sound editing, colour correction, and visual enhancement to ensure high-quality output.
• Collaborate with the NBtv Studio team and partner teams in China to develop and deliver content.
• Organize project files, footage, and editing assets systematically.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting production schedules and deadlines.
• Stay updated with emerging video-editing techniques, AI tools, and short-form content trends.

• Proven experience in video editing and short-form content creation.
• Proficiency in one or more editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.
• Practical experience using AI tools for video production and creative content development.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, visual composition, pacing, and social media content.
• Good knowledge of subtitles, sound editing, colour correction, graphics, and transitions.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to content production.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Portfolio demonstrating video-editing and creative content skills is required.

Language

• Mandarin Chinese is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Candidates without Mandarin proficiency will receive basic Mandarin language training to support communication with the partner team in China.
