Engineer- CS & PS Core Operations

• Configure and administer system parameters in Circuit Switch and Packet Switch core elements to integrate with other network elements and testing tools to realize the desire services.
• Secure an optimal operational and maintenance function within processes, routines, documentation, knowledge, skills and handle the responsibility in efficient and professional way.
• Secure 24x7 network availability by performing proactive analysis of Circuit Switch and Packet Switch core elements KPIs within team’s responsibilities.
• Implement & coordinate changes and major software upgrades to all Core network elements with/without vendor support and coordinate closely with other Operation Managers to perform these actions without major breaks.
• Follow System Performance Reports, investigate and make corrections/suggestions for increasing system performance
• Perform operational and maintenance activities according to the established process
• Ensure proper documentation of the activities and prepare reports of incidents and issues.
• Perform route cause analysis and provide solution to problems/issues related to all core delivered services with help of available tools.
• Analyze and solve alarms/incidents of core network within operational level agreement.
• Perform optimization works including parameter fine tuning in core network.
• Monitor Core network capacity utilization measurements and propose expansions if required. Audit and mange spare parts.
• Monitor alarms, faults, equipment loadings and taking appropriate action for problem resolution and load distribution.
• Execute second line support by analyzing the alarms, issues and coordinate with first and third line support.

• Good Knowledge of 2G, 3G and 4G circuit switch and packet switch core networks, architecture, interfaces and applications.
• Good knowledge of networking and signaling protocols.
• Make a proper coordination and communication with related partners.
• Capable to respond resourcefully and responsively to challenging situations.
• Manage complex environments and proactively respond to issues in an innovative yet structured approach.
• Good analyzing, problem solving and reporting skills.
