Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, designing, and executing test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, errors, and performance issues.
- Work closely with developers to understand product functionality and technical specifications.
- Participate in regression, integration, and system testing.
- Document and report defects clearly and accurately in issue tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure product quality before release.
- Support automation testing and contribute to test script development.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability of requirements
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Internship or 1 year of experience in QA/testing (preferred).
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Knowledge of basic SQL and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Understanding of automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is an advantage.
- Ability to write and execute test cases and test scripts.
