Role Description The Sports Brand Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies for sports and sneaker categories, ensuring consistent brand positioning across all retail and digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities; planning and implementing marketing campaigns; and coordinating product launches and promotional events. The Sports Brand Manager collaborates closely with merchandising, sales, and store operations teams to optimize brand visibility, in-store experiences, and revenue performance. The role also involves managing relationships with external partners, monitoring brand performance metrics, and preparing regular reports and recommendations to drive growth.
Qualifications
- Brand management and marketing strategy skills, including campaign planning and execution for sports and fashion brands.
- Market research and consumer insights skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable brand initiatives.
- Experience in retail or sports/fashion industries, with strong understanding of merchandising, in-store marketing, and customer experience.
- Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and partner relationship management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Fashion Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Proficiency in basic digital tools and social media platforms; familiarity with analytics tools is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a diverse team, take initiative, and contribute to a culture of leadership and continuous improvement.
