Job Description
One of the leading manufacturing companies in Nepal is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive to lead and strengthen the brand presence of its GSL and LSI footwear brands. The roles is responsible for building, managing, and strengthening the brand identity of GSL and LSI footwear brands across all consumer touchpoints through strategic marketing campaigns, consistent brand guidelines, retail visual merchandising, and digital presence in order to support sales growth and brand equity across both business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual brand strategy and marketing calendars for GSL and LSI in line with business priorities.
- Plan and manage ATL/BTL campaigns including TV, print, outdoor, digital, and in-store/retail activations. • Own social media strategy, content calendar, and influencer/partnership engagements for both brands. • Ensure brand guideline compliance across packaging, retail signage, POSM, showroom design, and distributor outlets.
- Coordinate with sales and retail teams to maintain visual merchandising standards across showrooms and dealer points.
- Liaise with creative agencies, media houses, printers, and other vendors to execute campaigns on time and on budget.
- Manage the branding/marketing budget and track ROI on campaigns and promotional spend.
- Conduct market research, competitor brand tracking, and consumer insight studies to inform brand decisions.
- Plan and execute new product launches, brand collaborations, sponsorships, and trade fair/exhibition presence.
- Monitor brand health metrics and prepare regular reports/MIS for management review. • Ensure brand consistency and differentiation between GSL and LSI while supporting each unit's specific market positioning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Mass Communication; MBA in Marketing preferred.
- 4–7 years of experience in brand management/marketing, preferably in footwear, apparel, FMCG, or retail sectors.
- Experience managing multiple brands or business units is preferred for consideration at the Deputy Manager level.
- Demonstrated experience leading ATL/BTL campaigns and managing creative/media agencies. Skills & Competencies
- Strong strategic and creative thinking with a sound understanding of brand-building fundamentals. • Excellent communication, presentation, and vendor/agency negotiation skills. • Working knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media platforms; familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite) is an advantage.
- Strong project and budget management skills with attention to detail. • Fluency in Nepali and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to manage cross-functional coordination across two business units (GSL and LSI). Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel across GSL and LSI retail/factory locations as required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent campaigns.
