Job Description
Mid-Level Video Editor (Motion Graphics & Storytelling), Nuventure Nepal
Full-Time | On-Site | Night Shift (6:00 PM to 2:00 AM) | Lalitpur, Nepal
About Nuventure Nepal
Nuventure Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is a post-production company based in Sampang Chowk, Lalitpur, working on video editing for international clients. We help brands and creators across global markets turn raw footage into scroll-stopping, platform-ready content, from social and commercial campaigns to polished corporate productions.
About the Role
We're hiring a Mid-Level Video Editor who lives and breathes motion graphics, storytelling, and visual presentation. This is an on-site role for someone who's already comfortable owning a project but is still hungry to grow, someone who doesn't just follow a brief, but elevates it. If you have a sharp eye for pacing, a strong creative instinct, and you think in "how do I make this more interesting" rather than "how do I finish this," we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
- Edit video content across short-form, long-form, social, commercial, and corporate formats
- Build motion graphics, animated titles, and visual effects in After Effects that genuinely add to the story
- Apply colour grading in DaVinci Resolve and/or Premiere Pro to give every project a polished, professional finish
- Shape pacing, hooks, and narrative flow so content holds attention from the first few seconds
- Work with the creative team to explore concepts, present ideas clearly, and push each project beyond the obvious choice
- Handle projects while hitting deadlines without dropping quality
- Take feedback well, but also bring your own point of view to the table
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on video editing experience
- Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, audio clean-up and sequencing
- Strong, demonstrable motion graphics skills in Adobe After Effects
- Good understanding of colour grading fundamentals (DaVinci Resolve or Premiere)
- A genuine sense of storytelling, you can explain why a cut works, not just that it works
- Creative confidence: comfortable proposing ideas, not just executing instructions
- Ability to work independently and manage your own project timeline
- A portfolio or showreel that shows range, taste, and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with Adobe Audition for basic audio cleanup
- Interest in current content trends, formats, and visual styles across platforms
Education
A degree in Motion Graphics, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred, but strong equivalent experience and a compelling portfolio are equally valued.
Working Details
- Shift: 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM (Night Shift)
- Location: On-site, Sampang Chowk, Lalitpur
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Dinner provided on-site every shift
What We Offer
- A creative, collaborative studio environment
- Exposure to diverse, international client projects
- Room to grow into more senior creative ownership over time
- On-site dinner every night shift
How to Apply
Apply directly through LinkedIn with your portfolio or showreel link included. Applications without a portfolio link will not be considered. Or you can apply by emailing your resume and portfolio to [email protected]
