Job Description
Role Overview: The Project-Based Graphic Designer is a specialized visual storyteller brought on to execute specific, high-impact branding and marketing assets for clients. You will be responsible for translating creative briefs into polished, high-converting static designs across multiple channels including social media grids, digital advertising campaigns, pitch decks, and brand identity packages.
Ideal for an agile, independent freelancer, this role requires a strong mastery of layout and typography, the ability to adapt to diverse client aesthetics quickly, and a disciplined approach to meeting strict project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign & Brand Identity Concepting: Develop and execute creative visual concepts that align perfectly with client brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Multi-Channel Asset Creation: Design a wide range of digital and print materials, including but not limited to:
- Social media graphics, static posts, and carousel ads.
- Digital display ads, email marketing layouts, and website/landing page visuals.
- Pitch decks, client presentations, and marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, event branding).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing Strategists, and Copywriters to translate creative briefs into high-converting visual stories.
Revisions & Quality Assurance: Incorporate feedback from internal teams and clients efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality, file organization, and brand consistency.
Deadline Management: Manage time effectively across concurrent project milestones to ensure all assets are delivered on or ahead of schedule.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 2+ years of graphic design experience, preferably within a fast-paced marketing agency environment.
Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing commercial design work across digital, print, and branding campaigns.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). Familiarity with Figma or motion graphics tools (After Effects) is a major plus.
Aesthetic Eye: Strong command over typography, layout, color theory, and composition.
Communication & Reliability: Excellent communication skills to clarify briefs, present ideas, and collaborate seamlessly across departments.
Adaptability: Ability to quickly pivot styles depending on the target industry and client profile.
