Position OverviewWe are seeking a high-energy, articulate, and deeply empathetic Senior Academic Counselor to join our elite admissions team. In this role, you won't just be "selling courses"-you will act as a trusted career strategist. You will engage in high-level consultations with working professionals (corporate managers, tech leads, and executives) to map out their career trajectories and recommend the exact global degree or certification program that aligns with their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Executive Consulting: Conduct detailed, one-on-one telephonic and virtual career counseling sessions with working professionals.
- Program Matchmaking: Understand prospective students' career bottlenecks, current skill levels, and aspirations to recommend the right portfolio programs from our partners.
- End-to-End Admissions Guidance: Guide candidates smoothly through the entire enrollment funnel, from initial inquiry and profile evaluation to documentation, interview prep, and final admission.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a high-quality pipeline of corporate leads, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining a high conversion rate without compromising the consultative approach.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on global corporate hiring trends, emerging tech/management skills, and updates from our university partners to provide cutting-edge advice.
- Experience: 3–6 years of experience in Academic Counseling, Executive Admissions, Corporate Sales, or Inside Sales (ideally within the Higher EdTech or Executive Education space).
- Target Audience Familiarity: Proven track record of interacting with and influencing working professionals and corporate executives.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional English communication skills (both spoken and written) with a polished, professional, and persuasive demeanor.
- Consultative Mindset: Strong active listening skills; ability to diagnose professional pain points rather than just pushing a hard sell.
