Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Counsellor specializing in UK education services, based in Kathmandu. The Counsellor will advise students on academic and career opportunities in the UK, evaluate their profiles, and recommend courses and institutions that align with their goals. Responsibilities include helping students with application processes, preparing required documents, providing visa guidance, and conducting pre-departure orientations. The Counsellor will maintain communication with partner institutions, organize educational events, and ensure student success through professional and ethical practices.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of UK education systems, university admission processes, and visa requirements
- Outstanding counseling, advising, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in managing application documentation and compliance processes
- Excellent organizational, time management, and planning abilities
- Experience in student counseling or placement services is an asset
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
- Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being an advantage
