Job Description

The Territory Sales Officer (TSO) is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned geographic area. This role involves managing distributor relationships, ensuring product availability, expanding market reach, and executing sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets. The TSO plays a key role in market development, trade activation, merchandising, and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Achievement


Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for the assigned territory.

Monitor and analyze sales performance; identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Drive primary and secondary sales through effective distributor management.


2. Territory & Distributor Management


Manage and support distributors, ensuring optimal stock levels, timely replenishment, and adherence to company guidelines.

Conduct regular market visits to monitor distribution, stock availability, and competitor activity.


3. Market Expansion & Business Development


Identify new market opportunities to increase product penetration and coverage.

Develop and onboard potential retail outlets to expand territory reach.


4. Trade Marketing & Merchandising


Execute trade promotions, product visibility campaigns, and merchandising standards.

Ensure proper placement of POS materials and product displays in retail outlets.


5. Relationship Management


Build strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key trade partners.

Handle trade queries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.


6. Reporting & Market Intelligence


Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

Provide timely feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs`
