We are building a next-generation ESL platform that combines structured language learning with AI-enhanced personalisation. We serve adult learners — professionals, immigrants, and students — who need practical English skills for work and life.

Our competitive edge is a proprietary grammar analysis framework that enables precise, contextual feedback and adaptive learning pathways. We're an early-stage, stealth-mode company preparing for an MVP launch in Q2–Q3 2026.

The Role

We're hiring an Engineering Lead to own day-to-day technical delivery for our ESL platform. You'll be the primary delivery owner: integrating agency-built components, establishing release discipline, building out our analytics backbone, and hiring a small local team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role — you'll write and review code early, then progressively delegate.

Must overlap with Nepal business hours.

What You'll Do

Own integration of agency-delivered web/LMS work into our environments (dev → staging → production)
Establish and run a disciplined weekly delivery cadence — planning, execution, integration, release
Build and maintain the analytics backbone: event ingestion, storage, admin dashboard v1, and KPI views
Enforce quality standards: PR workflow, code reviews, testing expectations, and security basics
Hire and manage 1–3 Nepal-based contributors over time (dev/ops/QA), delegating effectively as the team grows

What We're Looking For

Must-have:

5+ years building production systems (full-stack or backend-heavy)
Proven experience owning staging/production releases and deployment discipline
Strong backend skills (Node.js, Python/Django, or similar)
Experience coordinating with external agencies or vendors and enforcing quality standards
Experience leading small teams or acting as a tech lead with strong ownership
Strong security instincts (least privilege, credential hygiene, access control)
Strong English communication (written and spoken)
