Position Overview

We are seeking an Advanced Senior Quality Engineer (SQE-3) to serve as an organizational authority on quality across engineering, product, market, and customer layers. This is a transformative leadership role.

At this level, quality is not a downstream function—it is a strategic business capability you own, build, and scale. You will act as a co-equal strategic contributor alongside engineering and product leadership, shaping how the business views platform reliability, compliance risk, and competitive differentiation.

Key Responsibilities

Quality as Co-Owned Product Strategy

• Drive Product Roadmaps: Translate production observability, support ticket patterns, and NPS signals into a unified Quality Intelligence view. Present evidence-based product proposals that influence top-line revenue.
• Executive Advisory: Own the quarterly Quality Intelligence Report and use it to guide company-wide strategic decisions at the executive level. 

Zero-Touch Automation & AI Vision

• Architect the L4 Roadmap: Define and own the organization’s Zero-Touch QA roadmap, achieving Level 4 maturity with intelligent, self-healing quality pipelines across core domains. 
• Define Non-Deterministic Quality: Set standards for testing AI-powered product features, including LLM output correctness, agent behavior consistency, and RAG retrieval accuracy. 
• Scale the Culture: Establish QA hiring philosophy, onboarding standards, and career development frameworks to build a world-class QE organization.

Technical Expertise

• Expert QA Toolchain Ownership: Mastery of Playwright, k6, contract testing, and AI self-healing testing platforms at enterprise scale. 
• Observability at Scale: Proven expertise in quality SLO design, error budget management, and automated degradation detection. 
• Enterprise Ecosystems: Deep understanding of data integrity across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and vector databases, alongside enterprise-scale Salesforce quality architecture. 
• Industry Thought Leadership: Track record of shaping QE practices through publications, conferences, or open-source contributions.
