Job Description
Holiday Inn Express Pokhara is a modern, internationally branded hotel located near Lakeside Road, close to Pokhara’s key tourist and commercial areas. The hotel offers 90 comfortable guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, bar & lounge, lobby lounge, a 213 sqm meeting and events space, and a fitness centre.As part of the IHG global brand, we provide our associates with a stable and respectful work environment, structured training, and opportunities for career growth locally and internationally. A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning for the pre-opening phase
- Assisting in employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Managing colleague services such as transport, and cafeteria operations
- Coordinating employee engagement activities including team events, celebrations, and recognition programs
- Supporting medical check-ups and wellbeing initiatives to maintain a healthy workforce
- Handling HR administration including exit processes, documentation, and audits
- Coordinating with government authorities and external agencies when required
- Assisting in performance management processes and HR projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/HR preferred)
- 2–3 years of HR experience (hospitality experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Good organizational and presentation skills
- Experience in employee engagement and event coordination
- Energetic, creative, and people-oriented personality
