Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and oversee cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure, ensuring scalability, security, high availability, and operational resilience. 
  • Drive the strategy, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment reliability, reduce lead time, and support continuous delivery practices. 
  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineering teams to deliver production-ready, cloud-native applications
  • Oversee and support daily operations of applications and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. 
  • Build, maintain, and improve DevOps tools, workflows, and infrastructure
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring systems are protected against cybersecurity threats. 
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. 
  • Manage cloud-based production systems, including deployment, monitoring, scaling, and incident response. 
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines across development, UAT, and production environments. 
  • Handle version control, release management, and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, etc.). 
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and workflows. 
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams. 


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles. 
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure in production environments (networking, compute, security, storage, serverless, containers). 
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. 
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar. 
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalents). 
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems administration. 
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Deep understanding of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies. 
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). 
  • Solid understanding of web applications, REST APIs, and microservices architecture. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards (ISO, SOC2, etc.). 
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). 
  • Experience with mobile/backend integration frameworks .
  • Exposure to service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio). 
  • Certifications such as: 
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer 
  • Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

Other Specification

  • Full training (on the job and off the job) will be provided.
  • Office hours: 10 am to 7 pm (5 days a week), with Saturday and Sunday off
