Role Description
The Health Assistant (Part-Time, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM) will be responsible for supporting the health and well-being of students and staffs within the college premises. This role includes providing basic first aid, attending to minor health concerns, maintaining student health records, and assisting in health-related documentations. The Health Assistant will also support health awareness initiatives, ensure that first aid and medical supplies are properly maintained, and coordinate with local healthcare providers or emergency services when necessary. Prompt and professional responses to health-related situations on campus are essential.
Qualifications
- Health Assistant (HA) certificate passed or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered with Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC) for HA or medical council for RN.
- Minimum 6 months working experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Basic clinical and first aid skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond calmly in health-related situations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a campus setting.
