Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – Operations will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across counseling, sales, and student processing functions at Alfa Beta. This role will act as a bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring that team targets, processes, and service quality are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Management
  • Oversee day-to-day functioning of counseling, sales and marketing teams
  • Ensure proper allocation of student leads and follow-ups
  • Monitor daily productivity and resolve operational bottlenecks
  • Team Coordination & Supervision
  • Act as a central coordination point between counselors, sales, and admin teams
  • Conduct daily/weekly check-ins with teams to track progress
  • Ensure clear communication of targets, updates, and process changes
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting

Track KPIs Such As

  • Lead conversion rates
  • Application numbers
  • Visa success rates
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for the COO
  • Identify gaps and suggest actionable improvements
  • Process Implementation & Improvement
  • Ensure all SOPs are being followed across departments
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Assist in implementing new systems, tools, or workflows
  • Student Experience & Quality Control
  • Monitor quality of counseling and student handling
  • Ensure timely communication and service delivery
  • Handle escalations and critical student cases when required
  • Coordination with Management
  • Work closely with the COO on executing key initiatives
  • Follow up with teams on strategic priorities
  • Support in rolling out new programs, partnerships, or campaigns
