Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Career Counselor based in Kathmandu. The Career Counselor will work closely with students to provide guidance on career paths, educational programs, and professional development opportunities. Key responsibilities include assessing students' academic and career goals, offering actionable advice, and assisting them with university and program selection, application processes, and other related tasks. The role requires a proactive approach to building trust and fostering long-term relationships with students and educational partners.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Career Counseling, with strong knowledge of Career Development and Career Management principles
- Skill in Student Counseling and providing personalized academic and career guidance
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to actively listen, empathize, and provide clear recommendations
- Ability to build trust and connect with students from diverse backgrounds
- Relevant experience and/or a degree in education, counseling, or a related field
- Prior experience in the education consulting industry is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
