Role Description
Mokshya Coffee Company is looking for a full-time Cafe Chef to join our team at our Kathmandu location in an on-site capacity. The Cafe Chef will oversee food preparation and presentation, curate and execute menus that complement our coffee offerings, and ensure a consistently high-quality dining experience. Responsibilities include food service management, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, collaborating with staff to provide exceptional customer experiences, and monitoring inventory and supplies to support daily operations. This role requires a passion for creating memorable food experiences while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Food & Beverage preparation, Food Service, and menu creation
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Experience or proficiency in Sales, especially within a food and beverage environment
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to cleanliness and food safety standards
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary certification or relevant experience in a professional kitchen is a plus
- Knowledge of sustainable and ethically sourced food practices is highly desirable
