Job Title: Junior HR Officer

Reports to: HR and Admin Manager

Location: Birtamod,Jhapa

Shift: Standard (09:00 AM – 05:00 PM)

Position Overview

The Junior HR Officer is responsible for supporting the HR department in daily operations, with a focus on documentation, attendance and overtime (OT) tracking, leave management, and recruitment support. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive employee information confidentially.

Roles And Responsibilities

Documentation and Record Management:

  • Maintain and update employee personal files and HR records.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed.
  • Assist in preparing official letters, memos, and HR-related documentation.

Attendance And Overtime (OT) Management

  • Track and maintain daily attendance records of employees.
  • Prepare and update monthly overtime (OT) listings in Excel.
  • Verify attendance data and coordinate with supervisors for corrections when needed.

Leave Management

  • Maintain accurate records of employee leave (annual leave, sick leave, casual leave, etc.).
  • Verify and update leave applications in the system.
  • Assist in preparing monthly leave reports for management review.

Recruitment Support

  • Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates and interviewers.
  • Communicate interview details to candidates via phone or email.
  • Support basic screening of candidates if required.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in HR, administration, or a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and ability to maintain data accurately.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
