We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CAD Drafter to join our team at K&A Engineering in Sanepa, Lalitpur. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Role Expectations
- Steel: gantries, supports, bracing, bolted and welded connections, single-part and assembly drawings
- Foundations: drilled piers/caissons (rebar, anchors, embeds), blocks, footings, pads
- BOMs: steel, hardware, rebar, concrete, anchors
- Site civil: grounding, trenches, oil containment
- Redline updates, as-builts, file organization
- 3–6+ years CAD drafting experience
- Strong background in substation steel detailing, drilled pier foundations, and BOMs
- Advanced AutoCAD proficiency
- MicroStation skills if required by client or project
- Ability to convert calculations, sketches, and Geotech reports into fabrication-ready drawings
- High attention to detail and solid knowledge of steel fabrication, welding symbols, rebar, and foundations
- High-voltage (69 kV+) substation experience
- Electrical/physical drafting experience
- Exposure to 3D tools (Tekla, Revit, Bentley Substation)
