Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Manager based in Lalitpur. The Social Media Manager will be the driving force behind Aakar Dermatology's digital presence, responsible for creating engaging content, managing all social media platforms, and converting online engagement into patient inquiries and appointments. This role requires a creative individual who can develop compelling visual stories, produce professional video content, and actively nurture leads through strategic digital communication. You will work closely with our medical team to translate dermatological expertise into accessible, engaging content that educates and attracts our target audience.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management:

•      Develop and execute daily content strategies across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)

•      Create high-quality, engaging content that highlights our services, treatments, patient transformations, and dermatological expertise

•      Capture behind-the-scenes content, patient testimonials (with consent), clinic activities, and treatment demonstrations

•      Design and produce content optimized for social media advertising campaigns

•      Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all digital channels

Video Production & Short-Form Content:

•      Conceptualize, shoot, and edit TikTok and Instagram Reels from ideation to final publication

•      Create short-form video content showcasing procedures, before-and-after results, skincare tips, and educational content

•      Develop trending, viral-worthy content while maintaining medical accuracy and professionalism

•      Shoot and edit videos using mobile devices or professional cameras as needed

•      Stay current with social media trends, audio tracks, challenges, and formats to maximize engagement

Lead Generation & Community Management:

•      Monitor and respond promptly to all social media inquiries, comments, and direct messages

•      Convert social media engagement into qualified patient leads through strategic communication

•      Implement lead capture strategies when content gains traction or goes viral

•      Nurture potential patients through personalized follow-up and information sharing

•      Build and maintain an engaged online community around the Aakar Dermatology brand

•      Track inquiry sources and conversion rates from social media channels

Strategic Planning & Analytics:

•      Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing strategies aligned with clinic goals

•      Analyze performance metrics and insights to optimize content strategy and improve engagement

•      Prepare regular reports on social media performance, growth, and lead generation

•      Collaborate with the medical team to ensure content accuracy and compliance with healthcare marketing regulations

Qualifications & Requirements

•      Proven experience in social media management and content creation (minimum 1-2 years preferred)

•      Strong video shooting and editing skills with proficiency in mobile and/or professional video production

•      Expert knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other major social media platforms

•      Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar)

•      Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar)

•      Strong understanding of Social Media Optimization (SMO) and content marketing strategies

•      Professional attitude with ability to handle sensitive patient information discreetly

•      Experience in healthcare, beauty, or wellness industry is a significant plus
