Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mid-Level QA Engineer at our location in Bagmati. The QA Engineer will be responsible for performing manual testing, executing test cases, and ensuring software quality through detailed quality assurance practices. The role includes collaboration with development teams to identify and address bugs, creating test plans, analyzing results, and providing actionable feedback to ensure product reliability and adherence to requirements.

Qualifications

Review and analyze software requirements, specifications, and user stories.
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform manual testing for web-based and mobile applications.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate closely with development and product teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure software quality standards are met before release.
Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
Support release cycles and perform post-deployment validation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
