Role Description
General Tasks:
- Support and Assist the various operations teams with Product knowledge.
- Help the team customize programs with product ideas as per their requirement.
- Come up with new product ideas and translate them into tangible tours or excursions as per demand.
- Keep abreast of latest travel trends.
- Track competition on product.
- Travel to study product as per plan and where required.
- Efficient and timely action of all queries with regard to Product.
- Ensure proper coordination with operations team in India and Sales Reps.
Specific responsibility / day to day activities:
- Analyse future business trends and track new markets/segments and competition for product ideas. Keep abreast of all product-related news.
- Experience new products and meet strict deadlines to investigate a product and submit accurate reports/ feedback.
- Shooting videos and stills while travelling to make interesting films/photo slides with the help of the in-house video desk and design team.
- Circulate the updates on any new products and updates on existing ones post your travel, using internal and external communication channels via reports and blogs.
- Create presentations to educate internal customers on product lines.
- Compiling and updating the central pool of information/database on products including experiences curated by branches and ensuring it is catalogued for easy access by all markets.
- Periodically review and optimise the product portfolio based on client feedback, market trends, and performance metrics.
- Engaging with friends of the Destination Knowledge Centre and increasing our pool of friends and experts in various fields.
- Promote market-specific products.
- Synergise with operation teams to increase productivity by optimising the product options available to their FTOs.
- Act as a SPOC for all product-related queries from internal teams. Track & maintain query MIS.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify market-specific requirements.
- Assisting the sales team to create decks with products best suited for each market.
- Creating collaterals on products for RFPs as per market requirements.
- Support the Product Team vertical under the Destination Knowledge Center.
- Internal customer satisfaction and feedback from overseas partners on product support.
Job Specifications:
- The candidate must be a graduate.
- Preferably, 7 to 8 years of experience in tailor-made operations for inbound clients.
- Good Product knowledge of Nepal & Bhutan.
- In-depth Knowledge of itineraries and routings.
- Should have an understanding of customer needs and the market.
- Oral and written English communication skills.
- Some writing experience would be an added advantage.
- Quality conscious with an eye of detail are vital.
- Understanding of latest travel trends.
