Job Description

Biratnagar International College is currently inviting applications for the position of Full-Time Tutor to join our growing academic team. This is an on-site role based in Biratnagar, Nepal.

As a member of the academic team at Biratnagar International College, you will be responsible for

delivering high-quality teaching and academic support in the area of Cloud Computing and Object Oriented Programming . The role involves planning and delivering lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions, mentoring students, and contributing to the ongoing development of a modern and practical computing curriculum.

You will also be expected to stay updated with current industry practices and ensure that teaching

content reflects real-world applications.

Module: Cloud Computing

Positions Available:

• 1 Tutor

Type: Full-Time

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Teach fundamental and advanced cloud computing concepts, including cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models.
• Deliver cloud architecture and design principles, including scalability, availability, and fault tolerance.
• Provide practical exposure to leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
• Teach virtualization and containerization concepts, including Docker and introductory Kubernetes.
• Introduce cloud security fundamentals, identity and access management, and best practices.
• Guide students in cloud-based application deployment, monitoring, and cost management.
• Introduce DevOps and automation basics, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Prepare and deliver teaching materials, assessments, evaluations, and provide academic support to students.

Module: Object Oriented Programming in JAVA

Positions Available:

• 1 Tutor

Type: Full-Time

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Teach object-oriented programming and design principles using Java.
• Deliver software engineering processes and practices including SDLC, SQA, and software testing.
• Teach UML modeling, documentation, and clean code practices.
• Guide students in Java-based application and framework usage.
• Introduce version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Deliver cloud computing concepts with practical exposure to AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
• Prepare teaching materials, assessments, and evaluations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software

• Engineering, or a related discipline
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring students
• Prior teaching or academic assistance experience (preferred for Lecturer/Tutor roles)
