Role Description

The Sr. Counselor - Australia role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu. The Sr. Counselor will guide students through the Australia study abroad process, which includes counseling sessions, identifying suitable university and program options, and assisting with application submissions. Responsibilities also include providing support with visa applications, coordinating pre-departure preparations, and maintaining strong communication with universities and institutions in Australia. Additionally, the Sr. Counselor will support the team with training sessions and contribute to the overall development of student services.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of the Australian education system, visa procedures, and admission processes
Excellent counseling, interpersonal, and communication skills to guide and support students effectively
Experience in client relationship management, ability to build strong connections with students and university representatives
Proficiency in administrative tasks including maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and managing deadlines
Problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and aptitude for working in a multicultural environment
Familiarity with educational consultancy tools and processes is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field is required; a relevant master’s degree is an advantage
Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in higher education counseling for Australia
