Position: Product Manager (Agri-Business Development)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Station: On-Site / Kuleshwor, Kathmandu
Offered Monthly Gross Salary: 30,000/- to 35,000/-
Working Hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm / Sunday – Thursday

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic professional to oversee loan management operations, support product development and market expansion efforts. This role combines responsibilities across loan processing, compliance, market development, product implementation, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Management & Implementation
- Assist in planning and execution of multiple product verticals (e.g., Forestry, Dairy, Tea/Coffee value chains).
- Support current product implementations and develop plans to scale them effectively.
- Strategize on how to improve usage and documentation of existing systems and workflows.
- Explore opportunities within platforms like Krishala to build revenue and expand the client base.
- Liaise with Banking and Financial Institutions on access-to-finance strategies and implementations.
- Maintain and monitor product/project schedules, budgets, and plans.
- Organize and participate in internal and external stakeholder meetings.
- Prepare presentation materials and provide administrative support when needed.
- Identify project risks and propose practical solutions.
- Facilitate meetings, track action items, and distribute minutes.
- Loan Management & Compliance
- Manage the entire loan process, from credit assessment to repayment.
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and risk standards.
- Reduce defaults through borrower engagement and customized repayment plans.
- Monitor loan portfolio performance and improve processes through automation and accurate data.
- Work with tech and ops teams to enhance systems, maintain clean records, and ensure audit readiness.
- Track key metrics and report on overall loan performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Preferred 3 or more years of experience in project management
- Strong understanding of loan management, collections, and risk mitigation.
- Experience in coordinating with teams and clients with experience in documentation and reporting
- Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in both Nepali and English
- Worked in grass root level development setting or is interested to work with them
- Self motivated with proactive approach and result driven mindset
- Outgoing personality, influencer and a team player
- Comfortable traveling inside valley as well as outside as per required
- Strategic planner with business development and broad mindset to align with Aloi’s bigger vision
