Company DescriptionPurna's Museum Resort is an architecturally beautiful resort located in Jharuwarahi, Godawari, Nepal, just 12 km from Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu Nepal. The resort offers a unique Newa community experience with a focus on guest satisfaction, service, and hospitality. As a sister company to Purna Wood Carving Industries, the resort showcases handcrafted wooden products and features a museum dedicated to wood carvings and Newari architecture. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cook, located in Jharuwarashi, Godawari. The Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to the resort's standards. Daily tasks include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring food safety regulations are met, managing inventory, and collaborating with the kitchen staff. The Cook will also assist in menu planning and development, as well as providing excellent service to our guests.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing, cooking, and presenting various dishes
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety and cleanliness standards
- Ability to manage kitchen inventory and supplies
- Experience in menu planning and development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Previous experience is required
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is an asset
