Job Description

Job Title: Residential Hotel Manager

Location: Hotel Mirage Regency, Battisputali, Kathmandu

Reports To: Owners

Employment Type: Full-time, On-Site Residency Preferred


Key Responsibilities:Guest Relations

  • Ensure personalized and culturally aware service for Indian and other international guests.
  • Resolve guest issues promptly with empathy and professionalism.
  • Monitor and respond to guest reviews on OTAs and social platforms.

Operations Management

  • Oversee all departments: front office, housekeeping, F&B (including Coriander restaurant), maintenance, and security.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and service standards.
  • Coordinate daily staff briefings and hotel operations meetings.

Sales & Revenue

  • Collaborate with the business development and digital marketing teams to increase occupancy and event bookings.
  • Implement strategies to drive direct bookings and manage OTA performance.
  • Monitor room rates, occupancy levels, and competitor activity for pricing decisions.

Staff Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff.
  • Maintain team morale, conduct performance evaluations, and lead by example.
  • Ensure a clean, disciplined, and guest-focused workplace culture.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage departmental budgets, payroll, and monthly expense reports.
  • Approve procurement and control cost without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate with accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure compliance with local hospitality regulations and safety standards.
  • Conduct periodic health, hygiene, and fire safety checks.
  • Supervise security protocols for the safety of guests and staff.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hotel operations or managerial experience.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality service, especially for Indian clientele.
  • Leadership and communication skills with hands-on problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with online platforms, property management systems, and reservation software.
  • Willingness to reside at the hotel or nearby for emergency handling.
