Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Officer to lead and optimize our HR operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and policy enforcement to create a positive, structured, and high-performance work environment. This role requires strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills to ensure smooth HR functions across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding

Develop and update job descriptions, post job listings, and manage the hiring process.

Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and facilitate a seamless onboarding experience.

Ensure the smooth integration of new employees into the company culture and operations.

  • Employee Relations & Engagement

Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through employee engagement initiatives.

Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts professionally and effectively.

  • Performance Management

Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems to enhance employee productivity.

Collaborate with department heads to establish and monitor KPIs.

Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support employee growth and career development.

  • HR Policies & Compliance

Develop, update, and enforce company policies in alignment with Nepalese labor laws.

Ensure company-wide adherence to legal and regulatory HR compliance standards.

Maintain and manage employee records, contracts, and policy documentation.

  • Training & Development

Identify training needs and organize skill development programs.

Coordinate leadership and management training sessions for team lead and managers.

Maintain detailed records of employee training and career progression.

  • Attendance & Leave Management

Monitor employee attendance and manage leave approvals.

Address absenteeism and implement disciplinary measures when necessary.

  • Payroll & Benefits Administration

Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Required Qualifications

Manage employee benefits, insurance, and other welfare programs.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in the e-commerce or handicraft industry.
  • Strong understanding of Nepalese labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and HR management software.
