Location: Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur 44600, Nepal
Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday
Position Overview
The Training Division Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, and expansion of Genese’s training division, including managing a large volume of trainees and interns. This individual will lead end-to-end operations of academic collaborations, community training programs, bootcamps, and workshops across domains like Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Generative AI. The role requires strategic thinking, program design capability, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of the evolving digital skills landscape.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting and resource planning for training and capacity-building programs.
- Design, implement, and scale training delivery models to ensure reach and effectiveness.
- Link training outcomes directly to employability and job creation pathways.
- Develop training pipelines that transition learners from beginner to job-ready levels.
- Build and manage public-private partnerships to enhance program reach and sustainability.
- Coordinate training operations and ensure seamless delivery through digital and in-person formats.
- Manage Learning Management Systems (e.g., LearnHub) and ensure effective learner engagement.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with academic institutions, government bodies, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct training needs analysis and apply digital literacy assessment frameworks to design learner-centric programs.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance with a strong focus on quality and detail.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Master’s Degree (MBA or M.Ed.) preferred
Experience
- Proven experience in training program management, particularly in large-scale or multi-stakeholder environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across diverse audiences.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage complex stakeholder dynamics effectively.
- Experience working with provincial/local governments and NGOs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data technologies.
- Strong understanding of digital literacy frameworks and adult learning principles.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused
- Ability to travel occasionally to different provinces for program rollout and monitoring
- Ability to manage high volumes of interns/trainees and trainers simultaneously
- Should be proactive and capable of working in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
- Work in a multinational company operating in the Cloud & ICT domain, based out of the UK and operating in Australia, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh
