Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Supervisor-Fiber, located in Kathmandu. The Supervisor-Fiber will oversee the installation and maintenance of fiber optic networks, manage a team of technicians, and ensure the quality and efficiency of services. Daily tasks include planning and coordinating fiber installations, troubleshooting and resolving network issues, conducting site surveys, and maintaining accurate records. The supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance, including GPON technology
- Proficiency in team management and coordination
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical proficiency with fiber optic equipment and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Prior experience in network service provision is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
